Don Ogren

Don Ogren is a farmer from Langford, South Dakota. He still lives on and farms the land that has been in his family for four generations. His three children no longer live at home but are not too far away, and Don enjoys going on family camping trips with them out at the lake.

"The whole concept of a community-based wind project looks like it will benefit our whole area, and if we can do things to keep our community together and profitable makes this a very exciting project. Everybody that has lived here knows the wind can blow and if we can harvest some of that energy and send it down the line we can cut down on importing a little energy and everybody will be better off."
