Dennis Fagerland
Dennis Fagerland runs a combination livestock and crop operation along with his wife Jean. He lives in Northeast South Dakota, not far from the farm where he grew up. He is enthusiastic about community wind and the money that will come back into the local community, beyond the standard lease payments for non-community-based projects.
"I am excited to be part of a growing company that will have an effect on how energy is created in our country without having to depend on other sources. We know the wind will always be there, the wind is free so we don't have to worry about commodity prices changing and there are no emissions to harm the environment. We saw National Wind as a progressive company but also they had a concern for the environment and how it treated landowners."
